ALANA’S STORY
Alana, our beloved daughter and sister, recently passed away at the age of 26. She was, and continues to be, a profound inspiration to all who knew her. Alana’s intelligence, strength, integrity, and humility made her a natural role model. She excelled academically, was an accomplished classical ballet dancer, and approached everything she did with discipline, grace, and unwavering commitment.
Alana pursued her passions with purpose. From her dedication to ballet while growing up, to her career in finance and investment banking, Alana was always guided by strong character and deeply rooted values. Alana also loved exploring the world, traveling internationally, and embracing new cultures, which gave her a broader perspective and deep appreciation for diverse ways of life.
We are devastated that we lost Alana to an acute onset of a rare form of leukemia, diagnosed only as it was taking her life. In the face of this unimaginable loss, we are committed to honoring her legacy through the Alana G. Papa Foundation. Through partnerships with community organizations, the foundation will support programs focused on mentorship, mental and physical health awareness, and advancements in cancer treatment.
She lived with purpose. She led with character. She inspired others through strength, discipline, and grace.

their dreams and succeed with determination while never losing sight of the importance of caring
for their mental, physical, and emotional well-being as life is precious.
